TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

  • Please take your health and wellness seriously. We’re losing too many folks too early.
  • Keep your head up, Troy.
  • I know he’s an OG, but something about a living legend like Willie D making what feels like gossip blog clickbait type posts about one of his own peers just rubs me the wrong way.

Lil Troy, who is best known for his 1998 track “Wanna Be a Baller,” is hospitalized after the health scare.

Fellow Dirty South legend Willie D of Geto Boys fame was the first one to reveal the news of the 58-year-old rapper’s condition. In a video posted to YouTube, Willie says, “The good news is he’s still with us. The bad news is he’s not out of the woods. I spoke to Troy this morning -- he’s alert but he’s still in the hospital where he’s been since Tuesday of last week.”
