This could have all been avoided if he took accountability and offered a sincere apology from the start. Or better yet, if he didn't open his mouth in the first place and make those foul comments.
DaBaby is old enough to know better in the first place.
He was a day late and a dollar short with his apology. He's going to need to do more to try and repair his image -- a big charitable contribution or a public service campaign would be a good start.

DaBaby has been dropped by two more major music festivals over homophobic comments made last month at Rolling Loud Miami.
The Austin City Limits Festival and the iHeartRadio Music Festival are the latest fests to give DaBaby “da boot.” Earlier this week, Lollapalooza, Governor’s Ball and Day N Vegas dropped DaBaby, issuing statements about how they want artists who are aligned with their values.
DaBaby has offered multiple apologies that have largely fallen short. His best and most recent attempt came yesterday (Tuesday) when he blamed social media for moving too fast and not giving people enough time to learn from their mistakes. He claims he has since been enlightened on why his remarks were ignorant, and apologizes for being “misinformed” and making “hurtful and trigger comments.”
Multiple artists have spoken out against DaBaby, including Elton John, Demi Lovato, Madonna and Dua Lipa -- who also has a remix featuring DaBaby. DaBaby has found a few defenders, in T.I. and Boosie, who believe he is being bullied.
