Kanye West, officially announced the release date for Donda 2!

The new album will be released on February 22, 2022, yeah that's 2/22/22.

On Instagram Kanye, shared a photo of his childhood home with the album's release date, and revealed that the new album is executive produced by Future.

The rollout began a few weeks ago with the release of the new single "Eazy," with The Game, where Ye took aim at Pete Davidson for dating Kim Kardashian. During his sessions, Ye has been spotted with everybody from Jay Electronica to Blueface.

Kanye West is coming out strong in 2022, as his Netflix documentary, jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy, will hit theaters on February 10, before debuting on Netflix on February 16.

The documentary, chronicles Kanye's career through never-before-seen archival footage, and will be rolled out over a three-week period. A brand new trailer for jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy, gives fans a glimpse at a young Kanye discussing his status as a “genius” with Rhymefest, getting dental work following his 2002 car crash, visiting his childhood home in Chicago and playing music for JAY-Z in the studio.

Directed by Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah, jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy is a portrait of Kanye West’s experience, according to Netflix.

The documentary contains footage dating back to the 1990s, and sold for over $30 million last year. It was scheduled to be premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival, until organizers made the decision to shut down the in-person festival due to rising COVID-19 cases.

“Shot over 20 years, this documentary trilogy is an intimate and revealing portrait of Kanye West’s experience, showcasing both his formative days trying to break through and his life today as a global brand and artist,” Netflix said in a statement.
