Pop Smoke Breaks Eminem's Billboard Record

Pop Smoke Is off to a seriously prolific legacy in the music industry!

His debut album Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon has spent nineteen weeks at #1 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, tying Prince's Purple Rain. Now the album broke a record on Billboard's Top Rap Albums list, clocking in twenty weeks at #1 and surpassing Eminem's Recovery which spent nineteen weeks at the top in 2010-11.

Congratulations to Pop Smoke's estate on the success of Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon.

Recently, Pop Smoke's “AP” appeared in the "BOOGIE" soundtrack, which featured Pop in his first acting role.

At the time of his death, Pop had been working on his film debut "Boogie".

The film follows a Chinese-American basketball player as he studies and works on his dream to make it into the league. Eddie Huang's directorial debut shows Pop Smoke's character a few times, on the court and in the streets. The movie stars Taylor Takahashi, Taylour Paige, Pamelyn Chee, and Mike Moh..

The soundtrack also includes 50 Cent's "Many Men".
