Singer D4vd is likely to face murder charges for the death of Celeste Rivas.

According to TMZ, a grand jury is currently hearing the case and is expected to vote on indictments — prosecutor Beth Silverman and other authorities believe D4vd was involved in Rivas' death.

Initially, it was reported that the grand jury was only investigative, meant to gather evidence without indicting. However, it is now understood that the grand jury will decide on indictments. This development follows testimony from D4vd's manager, Robert Morgenroth, who reportedly faced intense questioning about why he didn't contact the police. Morgenroth stated that his focus was on maintaining D4vd's tour schedule, and that it "wasn't his responsibility, as reported by TMZ.

Grand juries often align with prosecutors' recommendations, and D4vd does not have the right to present a defense during these proceedings. Witnesses may continue to be heard into February, indicating that an indictment may not be immediate.

Hernandez was discovered inside a Tesla registered to D4vid in Los Angeles earlier this year in September. Authorities initially impounded the vehicle after neighbors reported a foul odor, and forensic examination later identified the remains as Rivas, who had been reported missing in 2024.
