Megan Thee Stallion's highly anticipated new single "Lover Girl" finally has a release date and fans will get to hear it VERY soon!

"Lover Girl", which samples Total's "Kissin' You," will be available on streaming platforms this Friday October 24th. The announcement came via Megan's Instagram, where she shared a photo of her hand holding a heart-shaped lollipop with "10/24" inscribed on it, causing excitement among her fans, known as the Hotties. She also posted a video teaser of the song, urging fans, "10/24 ALL HOTTIES BETTER BE IN ATTENDANCE."

The song marks Megan's second single of 2025, following "Whenever," which was released back in April. Fans have eagerly anticipated "Lover Girl" since Megan began teasing it on social media earlier this month. She shared snippets of the track, including a video of herself dancing to it in the studio. The song's producer, Jacobdior, expressed excitement about working with Megan, stating, "Produced my first beat EVER in August. Two months later, and I have a song dropping with MEGAN THEE STALLION."

In addition to her music, Megan has been busy with other ventures. She was recently honored by The Trevor Project with the Mental Health Champion of the Year Award and is set to host her annual Hottieween party in Houston on Halloween night. Proceeds from the event will benefit her Pete & Thomas Foundation.

"Lover Girl" is expected to be a significant release for Megan, potentially marking a new chapter in her career. The countdown to October 24th is on!
