Cardi B is back with her brand-new single, and the song has already left a lasting impression on fans.

On Friday, August 15, the Grammy Award-winning rapper delivered her new track "Imaginary Playerz." Produced by DJ SwanQo, OctaneThisThatGas, and Sean Island, Bardi takes on JAY-Z's "Imaginary Players" by adding a female perspective to some of Hov's iconic lines from the 1997 banger. She starts the track boasting about her success and shading those in the fashion world who can't tell the difference between "vintage" and "archive." The line is an homage to Hov's outro ("Yo, yo dog, what’s the difference between a 4.0 and a 4.6?"), but others believe it doubles as a shot at her foes.

"Now I spit that other s**t, pretty muthaf**ka s**t/Cardi B, every song platinum, I'm not the other b***h," she raps.

Of course, Cardi B also shared the official music video for the track. Directed by Cardi and her publicist Patientce Foster, the mother of three flexes her star power and stuns in multiple luxurious outfits as she flies from New York City to a yacht in Mykonos, Greece followed by a trip to Paris. While in France, Bardi shows off another round of iconic dresses while dropping braggadocio verses about her affluent lifestyle and expert fashion sense.

"Fixin' y'all mouth to talk fashion with me/I'm the one who showed these girls what fashion could be," Cardi spits. "The first rap b***h on the cover of Vogue/But somehow y'all passed me, I suppose?"

"Imaginary Playerz" is set to appear on Cardi's long-awaited sophomore album, Am I The Drama? The 23-track project drops September 19. Her new song also appears at the top of iHeartRadio's Rap Rising playlist. Watch the music video and check out more new music from Chance The Rapper, A$AP Rocky, and more.
