Sure, some of these get competitive, but it's more about celebrating two of our favorite artists.
Not like they're doing much else with their music these days.
One of the best parts about Verzuz is it's not just one type of artist, era or kind of music. There's a place for everyone.
The two artists seem to be setting the stage for an upcoming Verzuz head-to-head. They went back and forth over the weekend, but one thing they seemed to agree on was that it made sense to face off. It started with Romeo sharing a clip of him and Bow Wow talking about a potential battle, saying that if they go up against one another, it would have to benefit both of them financially. Bow Wow says, “We definitely going to do some [stuff]... When it’s definitely time, we’ll talk about it.” Romeo agrees they “put in too much time as young’s to not reap the benefits.”
Romeo even posted a lengthy caption where he said that the two artists are a lot closer than people realize and looking forward to finally working together after the industry “put [them] against each other for too long.”
