TEKASHI 6IX9INE: Snitch Heard ‘Round the World

TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

  • Another interesting part is when the judge asks if he “has ever been treated or hospitalized for any mental illness.” Tekashi revealed that he was heavily depressed in 2011 after his stepfather was murdered, so he “started… just rebelling and not showering, like depression stuff.” He was prescribed Zoloft and “other medication” but never took it, instead using his mom’s “Mexican remedies” to heal.
  • If you’re looking for the juicy stuff, skip straight to page 37. That’s when it gets good.
  • When he winds up snitching on the whole set, is he promised any kind of witness protection? I don’t think I’d feel very safe if my testimony sent a gang of career criminals to jail.
  • The paperwork makes it sound like it could be a year or so before Tekashi gets sentenced.
  • Even if he cooperates, the court is not required to honor the state’s recommendation.
  • The Fall 2017 date lines up with Tekashi's "Gummo" video which featured red flags in every size.
  • Tekashi isn't going to have friends or credibility when he gets out.

The 22-year-old Bushwick rapper is facing a mandatory minimum of 47 years in jail for his involvement in nine counts of various racketeering charges. But Tekashi will likely get a much lighter sentence, if he follows through on his promise to tell law enforcement everything he knows.

The rapper’s guilty plea, which was entered on January 23rd, and kept secret until people implicated could be taken into custody, is now public. The man born Daniel Hernandez swore under oath last month that he “met and joined the Nine Trey Blood Gang” in fall of 2017. “As a member of Nine Trey, the enterprise engaged in such activities including shooting at people, robbing people, and at times drug trafficking.”

He also admits he “paid a person to shoot at a rival member of Nine Trey to scare him’ and agreeing to sell a kilo of heroin. (MediaTakeOut)
