Seems for dog lovers, their pups can definitely make or break a relationship. A new survey found that 63 percent of dog owners say their dog plays a significant role in determining their romantic relationships. 50 percent of respondents said they wouldn’t even consider being in a relationship with someone who didn’t like their dog and 57 percent say they can't fall for someone unless their dog loves them. 70 percent of dog owners believe their dog is a good judge of character.

  • 53% say they become more attracted to someone if they get along with their dog.
  • 49% said once the person they are dating gets along with their dog, they become more open with them.
  • 38% say they fall in love faster when the person they are dating gets along with their dog. (SWNS)
